Mungaru Male
Spoiler Warning (hmm.. not really)
Having heard very good reviews from many of my friends, today I watched this movie and it was quite an entertainer. Nothing new in the plot - it is just one of the many movies made on the lines of “Love is great but Sacrifice is immortal”. But it was well packaged with some nice songs, beautiful picturisation and good actors. Predominantly shot in Coorg - a picturesque district of Karnataka, at the time of Monsoons, the movie showcases some wonderful scenes. In particular the shots at the edge of Jog Falls, in its full flow, are breathtaking. The movie also has some comedy and lots of romance to offer and is a family entertainer. With the recent dearth of good Kannada movies this really stands out and is worth a watch.
